son of the late Benjamin and Anna M. Durham.
He worked as a farmer for the Gibe Farms for 29 years, for Garrisons Lake Golf Club in their grounds maintenance crew and then worked for the Capital School District for 13 years as the foreman of their grounds crew, retiring in 1989.
He was an avid hunter, loved gardening, working with and repairing small engines, and most of all bragging about his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Durham was a member of Immanuel Union United Methodist Church, where he served as president of the trustees board for 36 years.
