Ida Conna Paul was born on August 6, 1856, in Copiah County, Mississippi, the fourth of six children to Parnesia M. "Pency" Tillman, age 30, and Kinchen W. Paul, age 31. She married Thomas Edwin Ervin in Copiah County, Mississippi, on January 9, 1873, when she was 16 years old. Their children were Mary Arimetta, Annie Laura, William Homer, Maurice Edwin, Carl Ross, Vernon Oliver, Ava Mignon, Ida Mae, Ernest Winston and Robert Paul. Ida Conna Paul Ervin died February 23, 1917, and her husband died nine years later on May 21, 1926.They both are buried in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Copiah County, MS.
Note: Place of death is not known. Many on Ancestry show Shelby Co., Texas, but I have no documentation of that. Seems more likely to have been at home in Copiah Co., Miss.
