Hans Hansen was born at the Krogan farm and he was a twin of Peder.
His parents were Hans Pedersen and Beret Pedersdatter from the Krogan farm.
Peder and Hans were confirmed 15th October, 1882 at the Singsaas Church.
Hans was one of eleven children.....Per, Berit, Peder, Hans, John, Lars, Bersvend, Berit, Bersven, Guri and Anne.
Peder took over the farm and Hans and several other siblings came to America.
Hans was married to Inga Marie Olsdatter Gresvig 8th October, 1891, in Menomonie, Wisconsin by a Justice of the Peace. They lived near Cedar Falls, Dunn County, Wisconsin and were the parents of Oscar (1893-1938), Hellen (1895-1975), Clara (1897-1942), Rev. Hjalmer (1900-1993), Lucille (1903-1994).
The family were early members of the North Menomonie Norwegian Lutheran Church, now Christ Lutheran, Menomonie, WI.
Hans more than likely worked at the Stout Lumber Company near Menomonie, WI. and then moved to Stanley when the large mill was operating "full steam".

Died Monday, February 13, of consumption (TB). Funeral occurred Wednesday from U.L. (United Lutheran Church at Stanley, WI.) Church of which he was a faithful member. Deceased also was a member of the Modern Woodman in which he carried life insurance. A wife, five children, a brother and other relatives survive him. Mr. Hanson was born in Singaas, Throndjhems, Amt. Norway 32 years ago. He came to Stanley about four years ago from Cedar Falls and was highly respected by all who knew him.
