Stephen Morrell Gardner Sr. of Clinton, MS was called home June 23, 2013 from the MS (Baptist) Hospital for Restorative Care where he succumbed to complications incurred from a massive stroke. He was 79.
He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, the former Sally Bridges of Harrisville; son Steve Gardner Jr. of Tokyo; daughter Renee' Trusty and husband Mark of Florence; granddaughters Victoria and Savannah Trusty.
Following "Big Steve's" wishes, his body was cremated. A "Home Going" Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 3, from 6pm, in Florence, MS. at the home of daughter Renee' Trusty. Friends of Big Steve, please join us.
