Leroy Newton, of Roundup, passed away July 22, 2013, at the Roundup Extended Care Hospital.

He was born on July 16, 1935, to Herbert and Frances Newton. He married Dolores Mikkelson on June 7, 1957. They were blessed with sons Donald, Doug and David, and daughter Dorothea.

Leroy worked for Hushman Construction before owning and operating the Mobile Service Station and bulk plant. Leroy and Dolores sold the station/bulk plant in 1979. He then went to work for Black Hills Trucking, Molen Drilling and Pool Artic in Alaska. He became disabled in 1987.

His passion in life was family, friends, going for drives on the back roads and cars.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores, of Roundup; son Donald, of Nevada; son Doug, of Roundup; daughter Dorothea (Kenny), of Billings; son David (Wendy), of Laurel; many grandchildren; uncle Walter Newton, of Huntley; aunt Marion Wanchena of Tacoma, Wash.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held Aug. 10, at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Roundup. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Memorial Fund, Box 908, Roundup, MT 59072; Rimrock Humane Society, Box 834, Roundup, MT 59072; or a charity of choice
