Joseph S Bray, II, born April 25, 1932, entered into rest July 25, 2013. Married to his true love Juanita Ruth Dickey on June 14, 1953, Joe was a loving father and grandfather of three children and seven grandchildren: Son, William Joseph Bray(Sharon Bray); Daughter, Margie Bray Anthony(Mark Anthony); Daughter, Carolyn Bray Hernandez(David Hernandez); Grandchildren, Marcus Anthony, Marcia Anthony, James Bray, Marla Ochoa, Gabriella Hernandez, Cosette Hernandez, and Armand Hernandez.

Joe was born in Milton, KY and was the first son of Marguerite Pecar and C. Harold Bray, both deceased. He has five brothers, Jim(deceased), Tom, Jerry(deceased), Philip, and William.

Joe graduated from Trimble County High School in May 1950 and attended UK for two years. Afterwards, he proudly served in the USAF, entering in 1952 and discharged in 1956. Joe worked for KYDA from 1956 to 1960, and then worked for USDA from 1960 until retiring in 1986. Joe was a real estate broker from 1977 to 2011. He joined the Masons in 1975 and in 1976 became a Master Mason, Scottish Rite Mason, Shriner, and Imperial Aid. He was also a member of the Alzafar Golf Unit, Royal Order of Jesters, and Kachina. The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels is unwavering in their devotion to faith, family, fellowman and country, and in 1959, the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky bestowed the esteemed honor of Kentucky Colonel to Joe; to this day it was his proudest moment. Joe will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
