THOMPSON, LYNNE; of Highland; died Tuesday, November 30, 1999; at 52 years of age; beloved wife John M. of 29 years; dear mother of Jennifer (Todd) Hudgens and John M. Thompson III; daughter of Merrilyn Butterword and the late Milton Butterworth, Sr.; daughter-in-law of Phyllis Thompson and the late John Thompson, Sr.; grandmother of Tanner Hudgens; sister of Milton (Sandee) Butterworth, Jr. and the late Susan Jackson; sister-in-law Patricia Jones-Thompson and brother-in-law Thomas G. Thompson; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lynne was a very active person who lived life to the fullest. Her family was most important to her. A memorial service will be 1 p..m. Saturday, December 4, 1999 at the Highland United Methodist Church, 680 W. Livingston Rd., Highland where the family will receive friends one hour before the service. The family requested memorial contributions to the Karmanos Cancer Institute, U of M Cancer Research Center or to the charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home. The Oakland Press, December 3, 1999.
