Shelby County Man Dies in Hospital

Harry Henry Stickford, 75, farmer and lifelong resident of Shelby county, died at Hancock Memorial Hospital Saturday at 3:30 p.m. following an illness of several months. His home was near Freeport.

The son of Henry and Elizabeth Stickford, he was born February 21, 1883. On September 27 1917, he was married to Mrs. Mary Cash, whose death occurred in 1945. On August 4, 1951, he was married to Mrs. Alice A. Lovell, who survives with two step-sons, Edward Cash of Morristown and Lester Lovell of Denver, Colo.

Also surviving are one sister and one brother, Mrs. Herman Mohr of Waldron and John E. Stickford of Sioux City, Iowa. A brother, Lewis Stickford, died two weeks ago. There are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the L. V. Hauk Mortuary, Hauk Mortuary at Morristown Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Reeves officiating. Interment was in Asbury cemetery.
