She was born July 9, 1947 in Terre Haute to Arthur Thomas Hensley and Rosemary Archer Mann.
Vickie was a homemaker and worked as a CNA. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. She was an avid reader, liked to crochet and play games on her cell phone. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to eat out. She loved her dogs, Tinker and Willie.
Vickie is survived by her son, John Howard and his wife, Bonnie and her daughter, Heather Hylman and her husband, Howie, all of Terre Haute. She is also survived by her sister, Ruthe Hensley of Terre Haute; brothers, Frank Mann and his wife, Stella and Arthur Hensley II and his wife, Jane, all of Terre Haute; her grandchildren, Kayla Reynosa (Carlos), Kyle Gleason, Kallye Gleason, Sara Howard, Erin Howard; great grandchildren, Aireyanna Reynosa and Ryder Gleason; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In honor of Vickie's wishes, cremation was chosen with no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made to Ruthe Hensley, Vigo County Federal Credit Union, to help the family offset funeral expenses.
