Debbie Dora Duke Davis, 54, passed away peacefully at Phoebe North Hospital on Friday morning, July 26, 2013.

She was predeceased by her daughter Sarah Phyllis Davis, and her parents Aaron L. Duke and Phyllis B. Duke of Albany.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jimmy Lloyd Davis, and her son, Andrew Lloyd Davis, both of Albany, Danyaelle of Albany whom she loved like a daughter, her sister, Julie A. Duke of Albany, brother, Donald G. Duke (Julia) of Griffin, GA, sister Shirley Duke Stickler (John), Barnesville, GA, brother Benjamin L. Duke (Nettie) of Hampton, GA., three nieces, two nephews, and nine great nieces and nephews.

Debbie was a member of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church where she served on the vestry and was active until her health deteriorated. She was instrumental in initiating community services on behalf of St. Patrick's such as Vacation Bible School, Thanksgiving and Christmas giving to local needy families, a fall yard sale fundraiser, Christmas service for children and other activities which St. Patrick's continues today.

First and foremost, she was a loving wife, mother, homemaker and sister.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 28 at Kimbrell Stern from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Funeral services will be Monday July 29 10:00 AM at Kimbrell Stern. Rev. Jay Weldon and Dr. Jim Bullion officiating. Burial will be Monday in Sanderson, FL at 5:00 PM in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
