War Patriot who was in the Battle of " Kings Mountain." He married Elizabeth Miller 15 Jun 1784 in Greene County, TN. Charles received a land grant in Overton County, TN so he Elizabeth and family moved to Overton County, TN 1810. He remained there until his death 12 Nov 1825 (location of death was in that part of Overton County that was changed to Fentress County). Known children of Charles and Elizabeth are: Henry, Robert, William Hamilton, Charles, Nancy, Hanna, Alexander Miller and Rhoda.

Gravesite Details
Charles was most likely buried in the Allred Family Cemetery in Fentress County, TN. According to one cemetery transcriber, there were many headstones that were unreadable.
