Myrtle Shepherd, 86, entered into rest on Friday, July 26, 2013.
Mrs. Shepherd was born on March 12, 1927, in Chauncey, Georgia. A retired Civil Service Secretary, she gave forty-two years of dedicated service to Robins Air Force Base. She had many talents, most of which were cooking, vegetable and flower gardening, and she loved helping her family and friends. Second Baptist Church was her church home for over sixty years, and she was a member of the XYZ's. Her husband, McAdoo Shepherd and parents, Dennis and Doyle McCranie; two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers would be appreciated or donations can be made to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
