Aged Woman Passed Away Early Today
Mrs. Zora Reed of Rathbun Will Be Buried Here
Mrs. Zora (Zellers) Reed, 78, widow of the Edward Jerome Reed, and resident of Rathbun the past 38 years, died shortly after midnight last night at the hospital where she had been admitted Monday.
She had been in ill health the past year.
Funeral services will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Mildrew, 351 Grant street, Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock followed by burial in the Presbyterian cemetery.
Rev. Taylor of the Free Methodist church, Emporium, will have charge of the services.
The body may be viewed at the Mildrew residence after the noon hour tomorrow.
Mrs. Reed, a native of Mifflin County, is survived by two daughters and three sons. Faye, Mrs. Mildrew, St. Marys, Virginia, Mrs. Charles Doll. Niagara Falls, Howard and Jack Reed, Rathbun, Edward Reed, Emporium, and 10 grandchildren.
