Mrs Hattie Lee Branton, 76, close relative of three Newport News residents, died Friday in Patrick Henry Hospital. She had lived in Whaleyville for many years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. B. C. Butler; and two brothers, G. A. Collier and B. F. Collier, all of Newport News; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm today in the I. O. Hill Funeral home in Suffolk. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ara Lee Butler, Joseph Butler, James Branton, Freeman Collier, Archie Branton and Ralph Branton.
