Sgt. Harold Chism, III, worked with the Douglas County Sheriff's Department in Omaha, NE; before serving the Fulton County Sheriff's office where he retired in 2006.
He is survived by a loving wife, Atha Lee Chism; a mother, Mrs. Ida Pettigrew; a father, Harold Chism, II, (Deborah Chism); two sons, Harold Chism, IV, Shomari Chism; daughter, Tchernavia Crosby; four sisters, Linda Chism, Patricia Chism, Gloria Smith (Brett Smith), Athia Chism; two brothers, Jimmy Chism (Tracy Chism), Levy Chism; three grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, aunts, uncles, and a host of other relatives.
