HEATHER LAGETTE RICHARDSON

Heather LaGette Richardson of Pierson was born February 1, 1987, in DeLand, Florida, departed this Earth, Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida, after an eleven month courageous battle from multiple injuries sustained in a tragic car accident.

Heather was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents Curtis and Patricia Richardson.

Heather leaves behind her precious 7 year old son, Christian, her Mother, Linnie R. Richardson and Step-Father Paul George, Step-Brother Brian George, Uncle Pete Richardson (Ann), Uncle Ren Richardson (Terry), Father William S. Richardson, Uncle Jeff Richardson, Sister Morgan Holley, Paternal Grandparents Bill Richardson and Gail Bailey, as well as Michelle Ploutz and the entire Perry Family, numerous Cousins, and friends too numerous to mention.

Heather was a graduate of Taylor Middle-High School in Pierson, Florida. Heather enjoyed the outdoors her entire life, riding horses, playing volleyball, hunting, and especially fishing. She also loved dirt track racing and reigned the Miss National Late Model Sportsman Title. Her passion for life even beamed through to her caregivers.

Heather's family will receive family and friends on Sunday, July 28, 2013, from 2 pm until 4 pm, at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in DeLand, Florida. The Celebration of Heathers' life will be at 11 am, on Monday, July 29, 2013, at the Community Christian Assembly in Pierson, with the Pastor Max Tyus and Pastor Benny Tart officiating. Internment will follow at the Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery located on US-17 and 3rd Avenue in Pierson, Florida. Heather will forever and always be our Queen of the Inlet.
