Marvin Fonda, 66, died yesterday afternoon about 4 at his home, 48 North Arlington Avenue. He had been ill only a short time. Mr. Fonda was born in Mayfield and had resided in this vicinity practically all his life. The only survivors are a number of cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 at the Bledsoe funeral home, 33 Prospect avenue. The Rev. Fred Clarke of the Fremont Street church will officiate. Burial will be made in Mayfield Cemetery. The Morning Herald, Gloversville and Johnstown, NY. Tuesday, November 30, 1948.
