ELLIS-CLINE, Ethel Coffey 96, of St. Petersburg, passed on July 24, 2013, in her home. Ethel was born on March 6, 1917 in Lenoir, NC, to parents Robert E. Lee Coffey and Lelia Carlton Coffey. She attended Marshall University in Huntington, WV, and earned a Master's Degree in Education Administration. She later became a school principal in Gilbert, WV. Ethel was an outgoing, vivacious lady who loved to dance. Her family was always her first priority. Ethel is preceded in death by her sisters, Fannie Pauley and Margaret P. Simonds; and her nephew, Curtis Pauley Sr. In 1967, Ethel's first husband of 27 years, Maurice Ellis, passed away. Several years later, she reunited with her former high school sweetheart, Ralph Cline. The two married when Ethel was 84 years old and enjoyed several happy years together before Ralph's passing. Ethel is survived by her dau-ghter, Marion Peak; grandchildren, Paige (Jenry) Ball, John (Robin) Peak, Eric Peak (Tom Doyle); her great-grandchildren, Tony, Stephanie, and Christopher Ball and John Paul Peak; great-great-grandson, Cayden; & close nephews, Bob Pauley and Roger Simonds. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm, on Saturday, July 27th, at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home. Services will conclude with interment in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater.
