ELMORE, OKEY 7/22/1999

Okey C. Elmore, 69, of Mentor, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, at Hillcrest Hospital, Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

He was born in Clendenin, the son of the late Edward and Alice Webb Elmore. He lived at Amma until moving to Mentor 40 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a Mentor fireman for eight years, and a member of Masonic Lodge 28, Painesville, Ohio. He was an assembler at Tri-Delta Industries, Mentor, for eight years before retiring in 1999. He previously worked as a furnace operator at GE Tungsten Road Plant, Euclid, before retiring in 1990 with 38 years of

service.

Surviving are his wife, Grace E. Duskey Elmore; two daughters, Mary Pearce of Mentor and Deborah Elmore of Painesville; two sons, Robert

Elmore of Mentor-on-the-Lake and Michael Elmore of Mentor; two step-sons, Duane Schreckengost of Creston and Jack Schreckengost of Mentor; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Otis Elmore of East Cleve-land, Ohio, and Bill Elmore of Clendenin.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Moore and Marie Elmore, and four brothers, Lomer, Otmer, Orville and Ord Elmore.

Services were held at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Mentor. Burial was in Mentor Cemetery.
