1966 - 2013 | Obituary ODESSA Jennifer Lucille Edwards, 47, of Odessa passed away Friday, July 26, 2013, at her residence.
She was born January 19, 1966, in San Angelo, TX, to John and Veronica (Halfmann) Clark. She was a registered nurse at Midland Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her sons, Justin Edwards of Odessa, Chris Edwards of Anchorage, Alaska, daughter Theresa "Hope" Edwards of Odessa, sisters, Amanda Clark of Tyler, TX, Stephanie Doane of Schertz, TX and four grandchildren.
Jennifer, or "paddlefoot" as she was nicknamed early on in childhood by her daddy, loved watching her son Justin play sports. She took great pride in watching his successes in both football and baseball growing up. She was extremely honored to be Chris' mother when he enlisted in the military to serve his country. Her eldest child and only daughter made her proud the day she graduated from her beloved University of Oklahoma in 2009.
All of her family will deeply miss her. Jennifer touched everyone she came into contact with and was always the first to lend a helping hand be it to one of her children or to a complete stranger.
There will be a visitation from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, July 29th, 2013 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Ector County Cemetery with Monsignor James Bridges officiating. Published in Odessa American on July 28, 2013
