Alice Melvina Williams Winter, age 89, died August 19, 1992 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Born April 14, 1903 in St. Anthony, ID to William David and Alice Melvina (nee Clark) Williams.

Married Leland Cowan Winter August 16, 1920 in St. Anthony; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died September 18, 1983.

Active member of the LDS Church responding to many callings throughout her life. A member of the DUP and filled many civic positions.

She had been a personal counselor until the time of her death--touching many lives.

Survived by four daughters, Jeanne W. DeLaMare, Salt Lake City; Gae W. Duersch, Murray; Joyce W. Petersen, Pleasant Grove; and LeeAnne W. Walker, Salt Lake City; 22 grandchildren, 87 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Saturday, August 22, 12:30 p.m., South Cottonwood 13th Ward, 5920 South 1100 East. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East So. Temple, Friday evening 6-8 p.m., and at the ward Saturday, 11:30 - 12:15.

Burial, Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy.
