Rosetta Scott Hughes
SALISBURY-Ms. Rosetta Scott Hughes, 64, of Pinellas Park, Fla., formerly of St. Petersburg, Fla., passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013.
Born Oct. 7, 1948, in Salisbury she was the daughter of the late Leroy Bloodsworth Green, Jr. and Lula Scott Green. Rosetta had worked in the Delicatessen for Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc.
She is survived by her six children, Melissa Bodine, David Tyler, April DuFault and fiancé Keith Campbell, and Bobbi Hughes, all of Florida, Cheryl Tyler of Crisfield, and Heather Hughes of Montana; two sisters, Phyllis Peek, and Shirley Gilliss and husband Frank; three brothers, Leroy Green III and wife Marsha, Gary Green and wife Cheryl, Melvin Green and wife Patsy; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Traina, Jennifer Bodine, Michael Liberacki, Stephen DuFault, Rachel Derderian, Tyler Carson, Shaun Yablonovsky, Brenden Barton and Teagen Barton; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by a brother, Larry Green, and brother-in-law, Robert Peek.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m., from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home in Parksley, Va. Interment will follow in the Parksley Cemetery.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at 11 a.m., conducted from the St. Pete Vineyard Church, 5000 10th Street, St. Petersburg, Fla., 33703.
