She was born on January 2, 1925, in New Orleans to the late Adolph S. Lavin, Sr. and Bernice Mentz Lavin.
She was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Lester F. Vicknair Sr., her sister Yvonne Lavin Ory, and her brother Adolph S. Lavin, Jr. Mother of Lester F. Vicknair, Jr. (Eileen), Henry N. Vicknair (Claudia), and Karen V. Nicoll (Gary). Grandmother of Wendi V. Sagrera (Kevin), Gawain J. Vicknair (Suzanne), Douglas M. Vicknair, Bradley M. Vicknair (Reneé), Brent M. Vicknair (Kirsten), Brandon M. Vicknair, Angela N. Tullier (Marcel), Gary M. Nicoll, Jr. (deceased), Aaron M. Nicoll.
