Old Resident Of Hardy Died Friday

Hiram Earl Cramer Had Lived ln Community Since 1898; Funeral Hold Monday

Hiram Earl Cramer, a resident at the Hardy community for 64 year, died in the Republic County Hospital at Belleville Friday, June 22, at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 11 days.

Mr. Cramer was the son of Sadie and Bruce Cramer, and was born in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, Jan. 11, 1888. He came to Nebraska with his parents, in 1898, the family making their home at Hardy.

On Jan. 23, 1907, Mr. Cramer was united in marriage to Edith Gillilan. Six children were born to this union, one of them, Thelma Irene, dying in infancy. He was also preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Left to mourn his departure are his wife, Edith; one daughter, Mrs. Louis Van Ornam (Wilma) of Upland, Calif.; four sons, Clyde E. of Hardy, Earl of Stockton, Kan., Glen and Robert of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Monday forenoon in the Union Church of Hardy, with the Scott Mortuary is charge. Rev. V. C. LeMon was the officiating clergyman. Interment was in Rosemound (sic). cemetery (sic).
