Adam C. Ketler

Adam C. Ketler, aged 69, of 406 Northview avenue, died at seven p. m. Sunday, Oct. 13, 1929, in the Jameson Memorial hospital following a sudden illness. Death was due to hemorrhage. Mr. Ketler was taken suddenly ill while out automobile riding with his son-in-law, Oliver Emery, and others, on Sunday evening. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died a short time after being taken there. Mr. Ketler was born in Wilmington township March 13, 1860, the son of Joseph and Nancy Shoaf Ketler. He was a coal miner by occupation and was a resident of Brent for 18 years. He was married 43 years ago June 13th last to Miss Rebecca Shoaff. He was a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge of Homewood, Pa. Mr. Ketler is survived by his wife and six children: Perry Ketler, Mrs. Frank Moon, Joseph Ketler, Mrs. George Wulf, Mrs. Melvin Wulf and Mrs. Oliver Emery. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1929, at two p.m. in the Plaingrove Presbyterian church. Interment will be made in the Plaingrove Presbyterian church cemetery.
