John A. Hagberg, 84, of East Killingly Road, a self-employed carpenter for 45 years before retiring in 1970, died yesterday at the Evergreen Nursing Home, East Providence.
He was the husband of the late Sarah A. (Gott) Hagberg.
Born in Glocester, a son of the late Carl* and Amelia (Helm) Hagberg, he lived in Foster for 43 years.
Mr. Hagberg was a member of Wood Haven Chapel, Scituate.
He is survived by a daughter and a brother.
