PROMINENT HUB CITY WOMEN DIES

MRS. MARGARET BISBEE HOWARTH DIES AT LOCAL HOSPITAL YESTERDAY AFTERNOON; FUNERAL SERVICES HELD TOMORROW

Coming as a great shock to her hosts of friends was the news of the death of Margaret Bisbee Howarth who died at a local hospital at one o'clock yesterday afternoon. Death overtook the prominent Hub City woman following an operation.

Mrs. Howarth was born at Dubuque, Iowa, February 7, 1895 and came to Aberdeen in 1911 to take up the study of nursing. She made scores of friends during the several years that she practiced nursing in this vicinity.

The deceased was an active member of the M.B.A. and also of the American Legion Auxillary.

She leaves besides her husband, Frank L. Howarth, one son, Ralph Bisbee, her mother, Mrs. Thomas McGovern, and five sisters, Mrs. Anna Roger, Mrs. Frank Reckershedt, Catherine McGovern, and Rose McGovern, all of Mineapolis, and Mrs. Carl Eiler of this city.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9:30 from the Wilson funeral home and 10:00 from the Sacred Heart chapel. The Rev. Father Dermody will officiate and burial will be made at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Howarth were held yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Wilson Funeral Home, and at 10:00 from Sacred Heart church. Burial was made in the Sacred Heart cemetery. Mrs. Howarth passed away at a local hospital on Saturday forenoon.

A large number of friends attended the services. Mrs. Howarth was a member of the M.B.A., and also of the American Legion Auxillary. She is survived by her husband, one son, her mother, and five sisters.

Pallbearers at the funeral yesterday were: Bert O'Rourke, Howard Johnson, Bert Heinzen, Joe Goodrich, Frank Thiesen and Clarence Harholt.

Relatives from out-of-town included Mrs. Howarth's three sisters, Mrs. Rogers and Rose and Catherine McGovern of Minneapolis.
