Harold W. Benson, 67, Nicoma Park, died at approximately 1 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1985 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, following an extended illness.

He was born Jan. 8, 1918 in Garvin, Oklahoma, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Benson. He had resided in the Oklahoma City area for a number of years. He was a retired employee of the Trans-Con Trucking Company.

Survivors include his wife, Lela Benson of the home; one daughter, Hilda Ann Hill of Westminister, Calif.; three sons, Wayne and David Benson, both of Midwest City and Arlie Benson of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Paul Benson of West Monroe, La. and Lawrence Benson of Texarkana, Texas; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
