Pedestrian Dies
Harlan Wayne Trovinger, 52, of Mount Shasta, Siskiyou County, died last evening when he was run over by a truck and trailer as he crossed Interstate 5 in Williams.
The truck was driven by Harold James Garrison, 44, of Tacoma, Wash., who told Williams police Trovinger reached the center of the street, heard the truck, apparently became confused and stepped backward into the truck's path.
