She was the daughter of George and Margaret Eichorn Neufer.
Mrs Margaret Neufer Nieding, 85, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Amherst Hospital.
She wasd born in Cleveland and came to Lorain County with her parents at the age of three years. All her married life was spent at the homestead on Townline Road.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs.Jacob (Mary) Battenhouse, of Russia township, and one son, Henry, at home; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildten; one sister Mrs. William (Lizzie) Ensminger of Fields; and two brothers, Peter and Henry Neufer of Elyria.
The body is at Zilch funeral home, from where services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Mondday with Rev C.E. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery.
