He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Evelyn Rose Freeman, a son, James Odell Freeman, a grand-daughter, Ashleigh Joy Freeman, his mother and father, Roy and Abigail Freeman, 3 brothers, Leroy, Shelby and Milton Freeman.
He is survived by his children and their spouses. Steve and Regina Freeman, Becky and Robert Doiron, Mandy and Darryl Robinson, Marty and Amy Freeman and daughter Sandra Freeman. He is also survived by 1 brother, Rabon Freeman, 2 sisters, Geneva Aldridge and Millere Watts, 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masonic Feliciana Lodge No. 31.
