Born Jan. 29, 1919, in Troutdale, Va., she came to Corona 30 years ago from Lakewood. She was a storeroom clerk for Bourns Electronics in Riverside for 15 years. She was a volunteer ranger for six years at Rancho Jurupa Park in Riverside.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Sandoval of Riverside; two sons, Melvin Stewart of Ontario and Phil Stewart of Corona; a brother, Phil Comer of Downey; five grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew.
Services were Tuesday, June 23, at Thomas Miller Mortuary. Burial was at Sunnyslope Cemetery in Corona. A memorial has been established with the Corona Community Hospice through the mortuary.
