INFANTE (RUBIO-CUBILLA), MARIA JOSEFA Maria Josefa Rubio-Cubilla Infante passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 2:30am at age 88. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Benito Guillermo Suarez-Infante and her parents, Santos and AnaMaria Rubio-Cubilla. She is survived by a son Jose (Sue) Infante; daughters, Ileana (Lee) Lamberts and Ana (Luis) Tauler; grandchildren, Nicholas (Amanda) Infante, Katherine Infante, Joseph (Nicole) Infante, Geoffrey (Linda) Lamberts, Ryan (Teresa) Lamberts, Corey (Melissa) Lamberts, Eduardo Tauler and Erica (Jason) Bodell; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Milagros (Joe) Rubio Heres, Osvaldo Rubio. Mrs. Infante was born in Havana, Cuba in 1924 and immigrated to the United States in 1961 where she split residences between Miami, Florida and Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a member of LaGrave Avenue Christian Reformed Church and later of Immanuel CRC. Mrs. Infante was a great example to her family and friends because of her great devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be held 1:30pm Friday, July 26 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, MI. The family will receive visitors from 11am-1:30pm prior to the service.
