Anna M. (Lombard) Barros, 84, of New Bedford died Sunday January 17, 2010 at home after a long illness. She was the wife of Jose H. Barros.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Marcelino) Lombard, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Mrs. Barros was formerly employed as a solderer at the Cornell-Dubilier Electronics Corporation.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Linda Foley of East Freetown; two grandsons, Adam Michael Foley and Eric Joseph Foley; and several cousins.
She was the mother of the late Joanne Barros.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 9 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
