Greenfield - Hazel Katherine (Chase) Gray, died aged 90 at Farren Memorial Hospital in Montague; resident of 54 High St., Greenfield; retired practical nurse; born in Keene, N.H. attended local schools and Winchendon Nursing School in Keene; a Greenfield resident for 43 years and member of First Congregational Church; retired 25 years ago, took up painting and displayed her work several times; widow of Ralph E Gray, leaves three sons Clarence A [1931-2003] of Bernardston, Phillip L and Ralph E Jr. both of Northfield, two stepsons Lloyd A in Florida and Lawrence R in Greenfield, four daughters Geraldine Larson of Providence, R.I., Harriet C Holbrook of Greenfield, Nancy K Lynde of Colrain, and Sally Bousquet of Jacksonville, Florida, a stepdaughter Opal E King of Clarendon, Vt., two sisters Mildred S Moses of Wadsworth, Ohio and Pearl E Graulich of Spotswood, N.J., 30 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren; funeral in the church with burial in West Cemetery, donations to the church or to Mechanics Lodge of Masons building fund Turners Falls.
