Suggested edit:
In the 1870 Census, William listed with his sister Margaret and parents Eugenus and Sarah in Church District, Wetzel County. Column 18 lists her as "Insane". After 1880, lack of 1890 Census creates a problem, Sarah is institutionalized at Weston State Hospital and remains there until her death. Mahala Ferguson comes to live in the Eugenus Troy household as housekeeper/servant and eventual wife (undocumented marriage) and believed mother of William's youngest daughter Nancy born in 1874. Mahala first appears on Census in Troy household in 1880.
