Shirley Mae Arthur, 80 of Lamesa, Texas, beloved daughter of, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother was called to her savior Jesus Christ.
Sister Carol Ann and husband Michael Pofusky of Goodyear, AZ, daughters Dia Robinett of Midland, Texas, Trisha Noble and husband Kevin Noble of Frisco, Texas; step daughter Frances O'Neal of Midland, Texas. Grandchildren: Jessia, Morgan, Mackenzie & Shannon
Proceeding her in death are her parents: Herman and Anna Mae Freeman and husband Judge Charles Arthur of Lamesa, Texas.
We will all remember her as "Granny". Her passions were her children & her grandchildren. Granny was an accomplished artist with a vast library of paintings, landscapes, flowers, western scenes, and her grandchildren. Granny loved to spend time in her garden and was a fantastic cook with southern favorites on the menu. She was a stylish lady with tons of class and loved to shop for clothes and shoes. Granny's true passion was spending time with friends and family as well as spoiling her grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society or Reliant at Home Hospice. Granny's final days were gracefully attended to by the wonderful team from Reliant Care in Allen, Texas.
