WALLACE, MR. JAY M. White Cloud Mr. Jay M. Wallace, age 65, passed away on Friday afternoon, July 18, 2008 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids from a stroke due to his Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy. He was born on July 8, 1943 in Muskegon, Michigan to William LaVerne & Esther (Gale) Wallace. Jay was a retired truck driver for the Teamsters Union 406, and he loved John Deere tractors. He is survived by 4 children, Ken (Renae) Wallace of Fremont, Cynthia (Jack) Bultman of Fremont, Robin (Bryan) Jahr of Fremont, and Wade Wallace of Twin Lake; 5 grandchildren; his companion, Cheri Brock of White Cloud and her 4 children, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild; 1 brother, Duane Wallace of Holton; brothers-in-law, Leonard (Janet) Jones of White Cloud and Robert Frederick of Arkansas; and sister-in-law, Jo Wallace of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his 2 sisters, Valeta Jones in 1997, and Rhonda Frederick in 1998. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home in Fremont with his son, Ken Wallace, officiating. Interment will follow in Sherman Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home, 7-9 PM on Monday and 12-1 PM on Tuesday. Suggested Memorial: The Muscular Dystrophy Association.
