Albert L. Russell, 73, of Laguna, Calif., formerly of Hawaii, died April 22. Russell, a retired U.S. Army colonel who served in World War II and the Korean War, is survived by wife Rita, sons Kenneth and Rory; and daughter Bon. Service over his ashes: 3 p.m. Aug. 9 at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire.
