Matthew Nathaniel Hayes, 35 of King George, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013. Mr. Hayes was a Rebar Fabricator with Gerdau Ameristeel, and husband of Dorothy Hayes. Survivors, in addition to his wife is daughter, Savannah Hayes; three sons, Alston Hayes, David Flierl and Christopher Flierl; mother and father, Ann and Leon Saffelle; sister, Lois H. Barr; two brothers, Thomas Hayes Jr. and Keith Hayes; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Hayes. Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Welch Funeral Home/Marks Chapel, 10300 Richmond Road, Warsaw where burial followed at Fairfields Baptist Church in Burgess.
