GARLAND, Texas—Steven Harper, 49, of Garland died Thursday, July 18, 2013, in Dallas.
Mr. Harper was born March 4, 1964, in Atlanta, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Harper; one son, Matthew Harper; one daughter, Erin Harper; his parents, Clinton and Neta Harper; one sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Jason Clem; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Garland. Burial will be in Garland Memorial Park under direction of Williams Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Sachse High School Baseball, c/o Coach Burrow, 3901 Miles Rd., Sachse, TX 75048.
