Linda Linn
MOUNT CARMEL - Linda Linn, 63, of 315 S. Hickory St., passed away at 10:25 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011, at Shamokin Area Community Hospital.
Born in Shamokin State General Hospital June 15, 1947, to the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Betty Ann (Lehman) Retallick.
She was married to the late Dale Linn, who preceded her in death Dec. 12, 2008.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mount Carmel.
She was also a member of the Atlas American Legion.
She was an avid shuffleboard player. She loved to do puzzles and especially loved her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Tammy Gedney and husband, Barry, of Locust Gap, Tracy Linn, of Lost Creek, and Melinda Linn, of Mount Carmel; a son, Joseph Linn and wife, Brenda, of Mount Carmel; a stepson, Michael Linn, of Bloomsburg; grandchildren, Randal Swank, Jared Gedney and Holly Gedney, Joseph Linn Jr., Daniel Linn, Matthew Dietz and Shania Andrewsky, and a great-grandson. Additional survivors include two brothers, Albert Lehman and William Retallick, and a sister, Betty Ann Darrup. Linn was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Tray and by a former husband, Thomas Linn, in 1968.
Interment will be in the Kulpmont Protestant Cemetery, Kulpmont.
