Mrs. Klotz was born Dec. 30, 1919, in Farrell, a daughter of Andrew J. "AJ" and Elizabeth "Lee" Roskos Podolsky.
She was a 1938 graduate of Farrell High School.
Mrs. Klotz attended Westminster College, New Wilmington, and what is now Youngstown State University.
A life member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hermitage, she was the first president of its Dorcas Society.
Mrs. Klotz was a secretary for John Hetra, former principal of Farrell schools. She also worked at the former Mercer County Crippled Children's Society, Hermitage.
The last of the "Podolsky" girls, she attended woodworking classes and made many beautiful keepsake items. She was an avid clock collector and enjoyed repairing them. She loved birdwatching and especially loved shopping with her daughter.
Her husband, Michael Klotz, whom she married Sept. 27, 1946, died July 11, 1993.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Marian Palisin, Ellen Hall, Betty Jane Krichko and Audrey Lombardi.
Interment: Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Hermitage.
