Derrick T. "Marby" Brown, Sr., 41, of East Petersburg, passed away unexpectedly at LGH on July 22, 2013 of natural causes. He was married to Lynn M. (Coulter) Brown on July 19, 1998.
Born August 16, 1971 in Lancaster, he was the son of Donald E. Brown, Sr. and Stephanie M. (Shuder) Terry.
Marby was a carpenter by trade and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was a loving family man who was a giant teddy bear and a father figure to many neighborhood children.
In addition to his wife of over 15 years, he will be lovingly missed by his mother, Stephanie M. Terry; his father, Donald E. Brown, Sr.; three children, Sachelle T. Brown, Derrick T. Brown, Jr. and Devin P. Brown; his twin brother, Darrick T. "Jake" Brown (Robin); two sisters, Trina A. Brown-Hinton (Kelvin); Quentisa Brown and two more brothers, Donald (Laura) and Otis (Crystol) Brown; a granddaughter, Milani E. Villega and a "soon to be" granddaughter, Raelynn O. Brown, his "brothers in life" Joe, Dana and Chris as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, caring friends and his two dogs, Chance and Maggie Doodle. He was preceded in death by a sister, Candace Brown.
Funeral Services will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home "Sullivan Home," 121 South Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 (on-site parking with attendants) on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1 PM (Viewing 11 AM-1 PM).
