Jeanette M. Lee, 78, of Wells Co., rural Warren, IN, passed away at 5:30 PM on Monday, July 22, 2013 at her residence. She was born on Tuesday, May 07, 1935, in Huntington, IN. She married Charles Lee on Friday, June 26, 1953 in the Dillman United Church of the Brethren. Jeanette was a 1953 graduate of Jefferson Township High School. She worked at Genes Market in Warren and also owned and operated Jeanette's Dress Shop for many years. Jeanette spent most of her time helping her husband Charles on the family farm. She was a member of the Dillman United Church of the Brethren.



Survivors include: Special Granddaughter - Julie (Husband, Brent) Bowman, Huntington, IN., Special Granddaughter - Jamie Thompson, Warsaw, IN., Great Nephew - Jason Schweikhardt, Van Buren, IN., Great Nephew - Joseph Schweikhardt, Van Buren, IN., Niece - Ann Arnold, Huntington, IN., Nephew - Gary (Wife, Janie) Schweikhardt, Warren, IN., as well as several other Nieces & Nephews and Special Great Grandchildren - Cole Bowman, Rylie Bowman, Audrie Bowman Huntington, IN.



She was preceded in death by her: Father - George Thorne, Mother - LaRuey (King) Thorne and Husband - Charles Lee, Brother- Thomas Thorne and four Sisters- Betty R. Shaw, Mara Belle Thorne, Esther Joan Groves, and Mary Martha Groves.



Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2013.



A service to celebrate Jeanette's life will be at Glancy - H. Brown & Son Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2013 with Pastor Dick Case officiating.
