He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; three brothers, Alonzo, Harold, and Jerry Cohns.
Survivors include three brothers, Rodney (Wanda) Cohns of Sherwood, Arkansas, Larry D. (Linda) Cohns of Pflugerville, Texas, and Michael Lane of Chicago, Illinois; four sisters, Gwendolyn (Glenn, Jr.) Griffin of Little Rock, Diane (Howard) Hobbs of Dewitt, Arkansas, Wilma (Johnnie Sr.) Davis of Little Rock and Sandra (Prince, Sr.) Cohns-Jones of Memphis, Tennessee; one special nephew whom he lived with, Kelvin D. Woods; two special nieces, Carla (Bobby) Huggins and Kendra Clark; and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
