Miss Saufley was born Oct. 26, 1911, in Port Republic, and was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Daisie Edwards Saufley.
She lived in Arlington for 50 years before moving to Charlottesville, where she had lived for the past nine years.
She was educated in Rockingham County schools and was employed by the U.S. Government Food Service in Arlington. She was a member of Port Republic United Methodist Church and Delrey Methodist Church in Arlington.
She is survived by a number of nieces, great nieces and great nephews.
The Rev. Gene M. Williams will conduct a graveside service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Cross Keys Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Republic United Methodist Church.
