Mr. Doris Walter "Dock" Parham, 92, of Royston, GA passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Parham was born in Royston, GA on December 26, 1920, son of the late Grady Parham and the late Lizzie Fleeman Parham. He was heavy equipment operator having worked with W.L. Carey Construction, a farmer and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Parham is survived by his wife, Maezell Rlou James Parham of Royston, GA; step-daughter, Lattrell Smith of Royston, GA; step-grandchildren, Tony Beatenbo and Dorothy Fitzpatrick both of Royston, GA; step-great grandchild and spouse, Jeremy and Adrienne Beatenbo of Royston, GA; and brother, Leeotis Parham of Kannapolis, NC; special friends, Diane Hart and Douglas Fleischer.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Parham was preceded in death by his step-grandson, James Smith; step-daughters, Reda Made Beatenbo and Mildred Hill; four brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services for Mr. Parham will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2013, with the Rev. David Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Pennington Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
