C. Dallas (Dal) Bailey, 87, retired Kosciusko businessman, died July 22, 2013 at his home.

Visitation will be at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko on Saturday July 27, 2013 beginning at 9:30 am until the funeral service in the Jordan Chapel at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Parkway Cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Dal was associated with Pathfinder Corp, Superior Coach Corp and Sheller Globe Corp for almost 30 years becoming the first native Kosciuskoan to become General Manager of the Southern Division. In 1980, he entered business for himself forming Companion Vans, Inc., a regional van conversion company that still exists today as Companion Body Shop. He was a devoted member of Kosciusko First United Methodist Church, where he held many various committee assignments and was a member of the Men's Bible Class.

He lived a complete life: first as a son, then husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Dal was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys & Everett Bailey, wife of 63 years, Jane Lord Bailey, a son, Jon Dallas Bailey, a sister, Inez Braswell and a brother, James Bailey.

Survivors include son, Frank (Sissy) Bailey of Kosciusko, son, Dr. Jan (Cheryl) Bailey of Winona, sister, Lauree Millis of Placerville, CA, grandchildren, Jenny (William) Jones, and Kelly (Jonathan) Powers of Kosciusko, West Bailey of Ft. Myers, FL, Jon (Tracey) Bailey of Southaven, MS and Anne Lord Bailey of Irmo, SC. Great grandchildren: Sara Bailey Jones, Lizzie Kate Jones, Bailey Davis Powers and Emerson Jane Powers, all of Kosciusko. Dal is also survived by his very special caregiver, Fox (Willie Ray Fletcher) who was his rock for the last several years of his life.
