According to the pension records, Francis Johnson had only 3 children when he died in the Revolutionary War in 1782 at the age of 33 in Abbeville County, South Carolina. The children are:
1. John Seawright Johnson (1779 Abbeville County, SC-1855 River Ridge, Alabama);
2. Isabella Ibbie Johnson-Black (1778 Abbeville County, SC-1863 New London, Union, Arkansas); and
3. Jennet Jane Johnson-Dobbins (1780 Abbeville County, SC-1836 New Whiteland, Johnson, Indiana).

Attached please find the SC Court Records that show he and wife Margaret Seawright Johnson (1756 Ireland-1842 Anderson County, SC) only had the 3 children.

Three years after Francis's death in 1786, Margaret Seawright-Johnson married William Miller and they had 3 children:
1. S Margaret Miller-Seawright (1789 South Carolina-Anderson County, South Carolina) m James Seawright
2. Rebecca Miller-Stephenson (1790 South Carolina-1873 Abbeville County, South Carolina) m John Stevenson (1788-1850)
3. Mary Miller-Rutherford (1800 South Carolina-23 Apr 1874 Anderson County, South Carolina)
